Krampus parade
>
Krampus is the dark counterpart to St. Nicholas, representing the consequences of being naughty rather than nice. This half-goat, half-demon creature roams the streets during the Christmas holiday season, rattling chains and bells to warn or punish those who’ve misbehaved. The Krampus parade annual event is not for the faint-hearted, but it’s a must-see if you’re into tradition, costumes, and a little dash of the macabre. On this page there is a gothic artistic and suggestive representation of the Krampus night and Midjourney is a really good tool to recreate the atmosphere. If you want to know what to expect from a REAL event visit my photographic site where you’ll find editorial images of the “backstage” of the annual Krampus Run in Munich just to balance the macabre with the fun 😀
