Visiting the usual popular Print-On-Demand websites and focusing on the most obvious form of Print-On-Demand – the art that one hangs on the wall, a disturbing thought came in without knocking:
\nwho prints the work of art you choose, and on what paper, and what kind of printer do they use?<\/em><\/strong>
\nMost of the times the colors you see on your monitor don\u2019t look very much like those you see printed on paper.
\nWho checks the color rendition?
\nAnd the diffusion effect?
\nAnd the overall quality of the finished work?<\/em><\/strong>
\nAnd then:
\nmy glorious printer can handle up to A3+ paper sheets (13\u201d x 19\u201d), quite a respectable size for a picture on the wall.
\nI\u2019m free to choose the best possible high quality paper on the market with the right grammage, texture and consistency.
\nPlus I love making websites.
